Product Description
Joe Mangiafico's modern and striking interpretation of the classic canoe knife design convinces with a ball-bearing drop-point blade made of CPM-S-35VN in a stonewash finish and a blue nuanced titanium handle. Decorative accents are set by the bronze elements such as the blade axle screw, the thumb pin and the titanium clip (tip-up/r). While the historical Canoe knives usually do not have blade locks, the Boker Plus Canoe with the titanium framelock takes a modern approach in keeping with the uncompromising performance for which the knife designer from the USA stands. A lanyard hole and the high-quality nylon pouch make it complete.

Broker canoe blue Titanium frame lock in s35vn
If you are after a big knife, well....I'll sadly report that this might not be the knife for you, but what it lacks in size it most certainly makes up for in versatility & slicing capabilities. S35VN is one of my favourite steels & Boker's is no exception I've used mine for a variety of tasks & it's never let me down yet, & due to its stocky dimensions it's action, lock up & centering are (with the appropriate attention) absolutely great! It's not like whacking a Chaves Scapegoat Street in your pocket, but rather surprisingly feels just as reliable, just as capable only it's not going to require hitting the next hole on your belt to keep your pants up lol. Obviously they are two very different knives (I own & love both) my point is if you are after a fantastic reliable little blade to throw in your hiking bag, camping pack or motorcycle saddle bag, & if weight is an issue then the Boker Canoe is a fantastic choice. I'm not one for flashy things or posing based items AT ALL, Im quite a simple bloke, & what I truly appreciate about this knife regarding its styling, is that it could be owned & enjoyed by those of us who are new age posers, or an old simple bloke like me, blue Ti with bronze hardware is the perfect blend of "hey I'm a good looking little knife who's all about getting it done, & I'm not so showy that I belong in a Metal Complex, Neeves Knives or Nick Shabazz review!" What I'm saying is that's it's got an extremely subtle & very tasteful amount of style without looking like it belongs in the glove box of a Ferrari owned by jake Paul. I'd also add that if you intend on picking one up & you have a large hand it'll still work well for you, though I'd hightly recommend tying yourself a decent lanyard & wrap your little finger around it while deploying it to avoid doing yourself a mischief!! But hey it's a knife & it's job is to cut, it's a TOOL after all NOT a weapon, so if you grab one, don't tie a lanyard & cut yourself, remember it AIN'T the knives fault, it's the doofus who was too cool to heed a warning lol. I don't much care for lanyards but when a hand size like mine & a knife size like the Canoe meet, trust me a lanyard is essential lol ask me how I know!! My fault not the knife's, it's awesome, I I highly recommend it, don't believe me?? Well I bought two, one to use & an untouched spare, as I do with all knives I truly love!!!
