Equipped with a 6/8-inch-wide blade ground extra hollow with a ridge, made of carbon steel and a French head, the razor stands for a thorough and skin-friendly shave down to the finest contours.
The gentleman character is emphasised by the handle made of green micarta, which is reminiscent of traditional Scottish tweed and is accentuated in style by studs made of nickel silver - including a comfortable flair of sofa chairs, soft jazz music and dimmed light.

Boker straight razor
This is a well made well priced razor. Gymping would have been nice but not a deal breaker. The curl at the tail fits the finger well for a comfortable secure grip. The blade sits central in the very nice G10 scales and the riveting is neat. The blade came shave ready of of the box and was comfortable. The French point may give a "newbie" a bit of concern but used with the correct respect will give a really good shave. Absolutely worth the money.

Boker lounge bar straight razor
This is a stunning bit of kit, the simplicity of design is gorgeous. The fit and finish ooze quality. Balance in the hand is spot on. Out of the box it is the sharpest razor I have tested and cut like a dream. I would reccomend Boker to anyone looking to get into straight razor shaving, maybe not the French head model due to it being able to "nick" the skin easier than a standard razor.
